HOW DO I GET A PAYMENT CARD?

You can get a payment card in any of BANK PERSHYI branches within 10 working days after the Bank accepts all the required documents.
HOW CAN I PUT MONEY INTO MY CARD?

1) You can put money into your account or any other BANK PERSHYI account in any of the BANK PERSHYI branches during the opening hours. You will need to provide the card number you wish to add money to.
2) You can also transfer money from any other bank. The payment reference is required which can be supplied over the phone.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY BANK PERSHYI CARD FROM A BANK PERSHYI ATM?

From BANK PERSHYI ATMs you can withdraw cash, check your balance, pay the mobile operator services like MTS, Life, Kievstar, change your PIN code, transfer money from one BANK PERSHYI card to another BANK PERSHYI card only.
CAN I CHANGE MY PIN CODE IN THE ATMS OF OUR PARTNER BANKS?

Unfortunately, not. This operation can be done only from BANK PERSHYI ATMs

CAN TWO CARDS BE TIED TO THE SAME ACCOUNT?

Yes, several payment cards can be tied to the same account. This additional advantage can be convenient if one of the cards is damaged for any reason (demagnetized, deformed), or even stolen. Replacement cards are free according to your tariff rates.

CAN I OPEN MULTI-CURRENCY CARD IN ONE ACCOUNT?

No. You can only open a payment card in UAH.

CAN I GET A CARD WITH A PHOTOCOPY OF PASSPORT AND IDENTIFICATION CODE?

No, original documents are required.

WHAT AMOUNT OF MONEY DO I NEED TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT?

You can open a card with any amount of money. After opening a card account you can deposit money for the future payments.

WHAT IS THE CARD’S PERIOD OF VALIDITY?

Bank payment cards are valid for 3 years.

HOW DO I CLOSE A PAYMENT CARD?

To close a payment card you should talk to your manager at the central synagogue in 13, Shota Rustavely Street or write an application to close your bank account in any of BANK PERSHYI branches. Your bank account will be closed within 45 days after you complete the application form. In 45 days you can come to any of BANK PERSHYI branches and withdraw your remaining cash from the card account.

CAN I RECEIVE A TRANSACTION NOTIFICATION SMS ON MY PHONE?

To receive a transaction notification sms you should talk to your manager at the central synagogue in 13, Shota Rustavely Street or fill in the application form for SMS-banking service in any of BANK PERSHYI branches. Monthly service fee is 8 UAH /month.

CAN A RESIDENT INDIVIDUAL OPEN AN ADDITIONAL CARD ON THE NAME OF A NON-RESIDENT INDIVIDUAL?

According to the Decision of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 229 the issuer (Bank Pershyi) has no right to issue an additional card to a non-resident individual if the owner of an account is a resident individual as well as to a resident individual if the owner of an account is a non-resident . You can open a card account in your own name and manage it.

CAN I WITHDRAW US DOLLARS OR EUROS FROM THE CARD OPENED IN UKRAINE, THE CURRENCY OF WHICH IS UAH?

Unfortunately, no. It is against the law of Ukraine.

CAN I WITHDRAW MONEY FROM MY CARD IN THE BANK WITHOUT A PASSPORT?

No. Unfortunately, a passport is required for every transaction in the bank.

HOW CAN I GET A CARD IF I AM A NON-RESIDENT?

To get a card you should provide the following documents:
1. your national passport
2. proof of residence (eg. A reference from your hotel, a temporary residence registration certificate on the territory of Ukraine from the housing department, etc.);
3. documents showing the origin of the money (if you deposit money in UAH);
4. documentary evidence if you receive an inheritance in national currency;
5. certificate issued by legal body-resident or representative of legal body-non-resident located on the territory of Ukraine, if you receive any payments for your job in UAH;
6. confirmation of private property sale on the territory of Ukraine;
7. bank statements about issuing cash in national currency from your current account opened in Ukraine.

WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT A PAYMENT FROM MY CARD THAT I DIDN’T AUTHORISE?

Please call us immediately on 200-09-09 to block your card, as your card number has become known to a third person who may use your card again in future. The card will be reissued – for this you need to talk to your manager at the central synagogue in 13, Shota Rustavely Street or go to any of BANK PERSHYI branches to fill in the application form to reissue a card and to claim an unauthorized activity investigation.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOST MY CARD?

If you have lost your card (or it was stolen) you should notify the bank immediately by calling a 24-hour telephone 200-09-09 or block your card. You will need to talk to your manager or go to any of BANK PERSHYI branches to fill in the application form to reissue a card.
CAN I RECEIVE A TRANSACTION NOTIFICATION ON MY E-MAIL?

You can get a free paper statement at any of BANK PERSHYI branches once a month. For more information call 200-09-09.

CAN I CHECK MY ACCOUNT BALANCE OVER THE PHONE WITHOUT GOING TO THE BRANCH OF A BANK?

You do not need to go to the bank to know your account balance. You can get information by calling 200-09-09 or sending an SMS message (if you are subscribed to SMS-banking service).

WHAT TO DO, IF THE ATM HAS SEIZED MY CARD?

If your card is seized by the ATM of an outside bank, you would need to contact the bank, which owns that ATM and find out their card return policy (the time of encashment, the collection point and the required documents). If a confirmation letter from us is required ask for the fax number and we will send it over the fax.
If your card is seized by our ATM, you would need to wait for ATM encashment, after which the card will be transmitted to the branch (if it happened in Kyiv, the address is Kyiv, 48, Dehtiarivska Street). Please call us again in a week to check whether the encashment was executed and the card is in the branch.

WHAT SHOULD I DO If I CANNOT WITHDRAW MY MONEY?

You should call the bank contact center on 200-09-09. You may need to activate a card, or increase the daily limit, or disable CVV code.

WHAT CAN I DO IF AN ATM DEDUCTED MONEY FROM ACCOUNT, BUT DID NOT GIVE ME MONEY?

Please contact any of BANK PERSHYI branches and fill in an application form about a disputed transaction. If a BANK PERSHYI ATM did not give cash, it will be returned to you after ATM encashment. If this happened with the ATM of an outside bank, our bank will initiate claim to that bank and your cash will be returned in 45-50 days.

WHICH ATM HAS THE LOWEST FEES?

In BANK PERSHYI ATMs and tills the fees are 0,5% of transactions with minimum amount of 1 UAH, in Atmosfera network ATMs including 30 Ukrainian banks the fees are 0,75% of transactions with minimum amount of 1 UAH, in other banks ATMs  on the territory of Ukraine the fees are 1% of transactions with minimum amount of 5 UAH, in ATMs of other banks outside Ukraine the fees are 1,5% + 20 UAH.
